Sino-German Vocational Higher Education Conference

Prof. Waldemar Berg, Vice-President of University of Applied Science Deggendorf, was invited to speak at the Sino-German Vocational Education Conference in Langfang. In his speech, Prof. Berg outlined the successful cooperation between his University and its surrounding companies in fostering students and in further developing the dual education system. For the past 25 years University of Applied Science Deggendorf has emerged to be one of the leading Universities of Applied Germany, excelling in areas like internationalization and third-party funding.    

Next to Prof. Waldemar Berg, this conference was also attended by a huge German delegation, consisting of Ms. Martina Muench, Minister for Education, Youth and Sport of the Federal State of Brandenburg, Ms. Prof. Ulrike Tippe, President of University of Applied Science Wildau, Prof. Andreas Wilms, President of University of Brandenburg, Dr. Marcus Hornung, Head of the International Office of University of Applied Science Schmalkalden, as well as Mr. Jan Landscheidt-Haas and Dr. Eberhard Trowe (both German Development Cooperation / "GIZ").

The Sino-German Vocational Higher Education Conference in Langfang was hosted by the Education Bureau of Hebei Province, PR China. BSK International was officially invited and requested to invite part of the German delegation.
