With New Engineering Subjects becoming constantly more important in Universities, a group of Chinese University teachers are undergoing an Academic Exchange Program for “New Engineering Subjects” at Technical University Dresden.

For two weeks, the participants will exchange experiences around issues like Industry 4.0, Augmented Reality, Big Data, Smart manufacturing and Internet of Things together with their German colleagues.

During their time in Germany, the Chinese professors will also make visits to the car manufacturers BMW and Volkswagen (VW), in order to see how smart manufacturing is put into practice there already.

Technical University Dresden is the only German University which was granted two seals of approval at the same time: The University is member of the "TU9" (Alliance of the nine leading German Technical Universities), and simultaneously an “Excellence University”.

With this Academic Exchange Project, BSK would like to enhance the international cooperation and exchange between German and international Universities, especially in regard to new technologies and new engineering subjects.

The project finished successfully with an official graduation ceremony. All participants recieved their graducation certificates and deputies from the German and the Chinese sides delivered their very positive feedbacks and speeches.
